Generations are counted from the person the book is for: four generations reaches their great-grandparents, five their great-great-grandparents, six the generation before that.
Questions
How long does a book take?
We will confirm a delivery window when orders open. Research on real records takes weeks, not days.
What if my tree is thin?
Tell us on the waitlist form. A tree that is mostly names with no sources is more work to check, and we would rather tell you that before you order than after.
What if a line cannot be proven?
Then the book says so, says why, and says what record would settle it. You are paying for research and an honest account of it, not for a guaranteed number of ancestors.
Can I give a book as a gift?
Yes. Gift certificates will be available when orders open.
Can you include DNA results?
If you already have results you want included, we can write about what they show. We do not interpret raw DNA data.
